This site is
provided as a communication and information tool for a once Top Secret, very
small and special group of U.S.A.F. Viet Nam Veterans. While serving in Viet Nam, these young men
also flew hundreds of missions in support of the Cambodian Army during that
war. |

These Rustic pilots flew mostly under the cover of darkness, in combat, over Cambodia.
Their mission was Forward Air Control, providing air support to ground troops.
The night crews were 2
pilots. 
Their call sign was
“Rustic”. 
Their mission was Top
Secret. 
Their aircraft was the Cessna O-2A. 
Their average mission duration was
4.5 hours.
